Militants gain ground in Iraq near Syrian border

Sunni extremists continue to gain ground in Iraq and now militants led by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) have captured the town of Al-Qaim on the border with Syria, about 175 miles from Baghdad. Alison Stewart speaks with Gideon Rose of the Council of Foreign Relations about the threat that militant extremists pose in Iraq and America’s role in the situation.
